Things To Avoid Doing When Renting Short Term Apartment Rentals

With their amazing benefits, it is no wonder that the demand for short term rental apartments is continuously increasing for the past few years. Because of this, finding the right rental for your travel needs has become quite easy. In fact, just a simple online search will surely suffice. While finding a short term apartment rental is quite easy, many people fin it difficult to rent an apartment especially if this is just their first time.

To make the experience easy and pleasurable for everyone, there are some things that you must avoid doing when renting a short term apartment. Here are some of them:

  • Do not send request that is below the minimum rental period.
Many owners state their minimum rental period in their ads and posts. If this is the case, then avoid sending requests that is below the minimum requirement. While many owners would agree with your request, you must give them the respect that they need. Keep in mind that the owners have to set some preparation period in order to make the home or house ready for your arrival and to suit your needs. The apartment must be cleaned before you arrive and after you leave so there is a big chance that the owner will charge the same fee for their required minimum rental period even if you will just stay for three days.
  • Do not sneak extra people.
You and your landlord will come into an agreement on how many tenants will stay in the apartment. If you agreed on four tenants, then allow only four people to stay in the apartment. While it is tempting to sneak in extra people, this is not highly recommended as there is a contract involved and you may end up paying for penalties and other fees. Plus, you may be banned from the establishment as well.
  • Do not violate any agreements.
When you sign the contract, that means that you are agreeing to all the things stated in that piece of paper. With your signature, it means that you are also legally responsible in the event that you violate any agreements stated in that contract. In the event that the contract states that children or pets are not allowed in the establishment, then do not bring any children or pets with your. If cooking is not allowed, then avoid cooking. It is the mistake of many tenants to think that they can get away when they violate the contract. Maybe you can but in the event that you will be caught violating any agreements, you will be penalized and you will end up spending more than what is necessary.

Just simply follow these simple don'ts and you will surely be able to enjoy your apartment rental in the best way possible.
